International Cultural Programme Centre has been established as the Lithuanian coordinator for the EU programme "Culture" (2007-2013): ICPC is Lithuanian Cultural Contact Point.

The main functions of the Centre:

• To provide information on the financing possibilities of cultural projects in the EU;
• To consult on the issues of the formation of the idea of a cultural project and the preparation of applications; to organise information seminars and trainings;
• To act as an intermediary for cultural and art organisations searching for partners for their projects in the European countries;
• To follow the main events related to culture taking place in the European Community and to inform the concerned Lithuanian cultural institutions about such events.

The ECPC also prepares the participation of Lithuania in the initiative of the European Commission 2008, European Year of Intercultural Dialogue. The Centre is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the National Project.

The European Commission as well as the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania finance the activities of the Centre.
